A reminder to hold onto the little things before they're gone

Let’s be honest...some days of motherhood feel never-ending. You’re running on fumes, trying to remember if you brushed your hair (or teeth), and your toddler is having big feelings about the color of their cup. Again. You’re showing up, every single day, doing all the little things that no one really sees… except maybe me.

Because when I’m photographing you with your babies, I do see it.

The way your toddler instinctively curls into you when they’re tired.

The way your baby’s tiny fingers grab a handful of your shirt like they’re anchoring themselves to their whole world.

The quick kiss on the forehead. The hand brushing their hair behind their ear. The look you give them that says “you’re safe here.”

And I know it might feel like just another day… but one day, it won’t be.

You won't always...

  • have a toddler who climbs into your lap without asking.
  • be the one they reach for first when they’re scared or tired.
  • hear their tiny voice mispronounce your name in the cutest way.
  • be the only person who can fix all their problems with a hug.

These moments don’t come with a flashing sign that says, “Hey, this is the last time this will happen.” They just quietly slip away while we’re busy doing life. And suddenly, you’re searching your phone, scrolling through blurry pictures and videos, trying to hold onto something that felt so small in the moment but means everything now.

That's why I do what I do

Not for perfect smiles or matching outfits (though those can be fun too), but for the real stuff. The ordinary, beautiful, messy love that fills your everyday.

Because someday, when they’re grown and you’ve got a quiet house and a clean floor and a full night’s sleep (finally)… you’re going to miss this.

You’ll want to see the way your son looked at you when you sang his favorite song.

You’ll want to remember how your daughter played with your necklace while she nursed.

You’ll want to feel what it was like to be in this exact chapter.

And friend, I want you to have that.

So lets freeze the moments that matter

Let’s bottle up the giggles, the forehead kisses, the cuddles that melt into your chest. Let’s photograph you being their safe place, their home, their everything.

Because I promise… one day, these will be the moments you’ll want to hold onto the most.

And I’ll be here, ready to capture them with all the heart they deserve. 💛
