You absolutely can hire someone local. But if you've spent time finding a photographer whose work feels like you, whose approach helps you feel comfortable, and whose storytelling style you already love, you don't have to start over just because you're traveling.

How do I know if a Destination Story is right for us?

Do you travel internationally?
Yes! While I'm based in Utah, I'm available for both domestic and international destination sessions. Whether your story takes you to the mountains, the coast, or across the world, I'd love to help document it.
Will you help us choose a location?
Yes! Once you're booked, I'll help you find locations that fit your vision, lighting, accessibility needs, and the overall feel you're hoping for.
How far in advance should we book?
The earlier, the better—especially for destinations that require flights or lodging. I recommend reaching out as soon as you start planning your trip so we have the best chance of securing your dates.
Do we receive all the images?
Absolutely. I don't believe your story should be reduced to a handful of favorites. Every Destination Story includes your full hand-edited gallery, allowing you to relive not just the highlights, but the little moments in between that often become the most meaningful memories.
Do you only travel to the destinations on your bucket list?
Not at all! My bucket list is simply a collection of places I'm especially excited to photograph. If your story is taking you somewhere else, I'd still love to hear about it.
Can we include grandparents or extended family?
Absolutely! Many Destination Stories happen during family vacations or reunions, making them the perfect opportunity to include grandparents, siblings, cousins, or other loved ones. If you're planning to include a larger group, let me know during the planning process so I can create a session that flows naturally for everyone.
